ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has dismissed a plea seeking the registration of a treason case against Prime Minister Imran Khan and former ministers, and fined the petitioner Rs 100,000.
The plea seeking the establishment of a treason case against Imran Khan and previous ministers was declared as inadmissible by Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Atharmanullah. The petitioner was also fined Rs 100,000 by the court.
The court also turned down a request to investigate the alleged letter, as well as a request to place Imran Khan's and previous ministers' names on the ECL.
